Who: the account owner. Time: two minutes.

Your AI receptionist prices jobs using rules you set, labor rate, material markup, and tax. Wrong defaults here means wrong quotes on real calls, so check this before your first live job.

Where to check​

Ask Megan what your current labor rate, markup, and tax are set to. She reads back the exact numbers your AI is quoting from right now. If you'd rather see it as a form, go to Settings, then AI Employee, then the pricing section.

What to set​

  • Labor rate, your real hourly rate, not a placeholder.
  • Material markup, the percentage you actually add to material cost.
  • Tax, your local rate.

If you skip this step, these stay on generic defaults, which are almost never your real numbers.
