Your AI receptionist answers calls the moment its phone number is active, no waiting. Texting is different: it needs a one-time carrier registration that takes 7 to 14 days. If you send a test text on day one and nothing happens, that's expected, not broken.
The one step that matters most

Until it's connected, your AI can take a message and have a conversation, but it cannot check your calendar or put a job on your schedule.
